    • Managed launch of new degree catalog, resulting in a 286% increase in user sessions and 70% increase in new vs. returning users
    • Headed data synthesis for over 40 structured data fields for 310 programs with 4 other UNC General Administration departments and third-party vendor Ranku

    • Designed case management database for Orange County Department of Aging
    • Authored memo on the future of cloud computing, IT as a Service (ITaaS), and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) for Orange County Chief Information Officer

Community Involvement

  • OpenAcademicData.org

    Founder, 2016 – Present

    Administer OpenAcademicData.org wiki to advance best practices for including data in institutional repositories.

    • Create content for publication on issues of managing access to educational, administrative, and research data in higher education institutions
    • Manage list of institutional repositories that accept research data
    • Administer web backend, including MySQL database, MediaWiki software, and webserver.
  • Dialectic and Philanthropic Societies Foundation

    Director, 2009 – Present

    Manage, preserve, and restore over $1,500,000 in portraits and artifacts as a member of the Board of Directors.

    • Administer the Foundation’s antique portrait collection and other assets; recommended options for restoration and preservation for portraits to ensure survival of the collection
    • Recovered several missing portraits belonging to the Foundation and created permanent loan agreements with owners of their current locations
    • Negotiated terms of permanent loan of eight portraits housed at the Carolina Inn’s North and South Parlors
    • Created and launched the Foundation’s new website, http://www.diphi.org
